Not all room remodels need to get torn down to the studs. Our 1980's era living room was in desperate need of a makeover.
The biggest challenge was when we tore out all the old carpet and installed a hardwood, bamboo floor. With crown molding, a built-in shelving unit, paint, and new furniture, this turned out to a pretty good sized project.
